Get to Know the Designer
I’m a husband, father, graphic designer and teacher with a passion for music and type, born and raised in Amarillo, Texas. I moved to the DFW metroplex by myself after high school, where I attended TCU, made some great friends, met my future wife and learned how to be a designer. I moved back home in 2010 so my kids could grow up with a big family and so I could enjoy family game nights and play Saturday morning football.
I taught design at Amarillo College for 11 years and helped turn a small, 2-year program into a local powerhouse, launching dozens of talented young designers into the work force. I then helped one of my best friends launch a business, Two Fish Technology, and worked there for a few years. In 2025, I began teaching adjunct design classes again and continue to work on identity and web design projects for Weathersbee Creative.
