
Ali Ramos is a social worker and long-time disability advocate, who in addition to being involved with numerous city commissions, has taken on local racist and anti-LGBTQ groups. She ran for city counsel in 2021, and while not winning, certainly awakened a group of young folks to their civic responsibilities.
The branding and logo suggest non-partisanship, and the logos were designed as part of scheme that, yes, promoted Ali, but also suggested a purple Amarillo and ultimately a purple America.
