El Creative continues to service Wingstop, but when I began there out of college, my first real project was to create the graphics for a TV commercial with Troy Aikman. Although the flavor graphics I created (and which were featured) weren’t revolutionary, they started a several-year phase of myself and colleagues producing work as Wingstop’s exclusive advertising partner.

I’ve featured here only a few of the things which I produced myself, but beyond what is shown, I pitched commercial scripts (which DIDN’T air) and wrote radio scripts (which DID air), along with producing years’ worth of in-house work such as training videos, uniform guides, and awards presentations.

The graphic featured here is a widget that Wingstop displayed on their site as they approached their Millionth wing sold.

Within a couple weeks of graduating college and signing on as a designer, I was creating these graphics for a series of commercials featuring Troy Aikman, the longtime Wingstop spokesperson.

The graphics, as rudimentary as they may seem, played well on the screen as they were TO THE POINT. Also, people look so much different on screen, as I came to understand seeing celebrities in future endeavors.
